Is there such thing as a PCI wifi modem, im not asking about an internal adapter but rather the router itself. I know i can get a router external for cheap but i want to eliminate "desk clutter"

Well you could turn your PC into a router. But it’s probably not worth the effort and the limitations it would impose to simply avoid a little desk clutter.

You need an ethernet port that you’d connect to the modem, and wireless adapter that supports configuration as a wifi hotspot (or use Connectify) for your wireless users. Then use ICS to bridge the wired and wireless connections. Voila, you have yourself a router.
