Why can I not play/run videos are a few sites like WSJ.com?

For example, I cannot play any videos on WSJ.com, a mainstream news site.

How can I know which video player controls this, to narrow down what is the problem, in order to fix it.

More about play videos sites
  1. WSJ uses Flash videos.

Upgrade or reinstall your flash player:

    http://www.adobe.com
  2. If that doesn't work, then you may have a corrupt flash install. Run the flash uninstaller tool and reinstall and see if it works.

  3. I found the problem myself. It had to do with flash player settings, Right click on video area, see local settings set to 0. Raise above 0 and it works.

Separate issue is that reports say setting above 0 allows the site to track you.
