My desktops lan is slower than my laptops wifi

my desktop is connected to lan and i only get exactly 10 Mbps , while my wifi on my laptop gets me around 70 Mbps , they are both connected to the same router and im using speedtest.net to test my speeds, i have a fibre optic cable so i am expecting 80-100 Mbps

at what speed is your LAN card connected to the router?

Sounds like either rate autonegotiation failed or the NIC is hardcoded for 10Mbps
