Got my eye on a Belkin Surge Protector. It's one of the 'gold' models with 8 power sockets and a couple of RJ-11 sockets for my ADSL connection.

Will my realistic limit of powered devices from this be equal or less than the rated fuse?

I ask cos I plan to have:

2 x base units.
1 x 17" monitor
1 x set of speakers
1 x router
1 x printer

...for starters at least. Too much for one wall socket?

Remember 240V in the UK.

<b><font color=blue>~ Gotta question? Tried searching the boards first? Good! Ask away! ~<font color=blue></b>

One of these things? <A HREF="http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=&Section_Id=71&pcount=&Product_Id=20295&Section.Section_Path=/Root/PowerProtection/Computer...otection/" target="_new">Belkin</A>

I imagine your kit would draw about 6amps, tops. Unless the printer is some heavy duty laser beast

You should be fine
