By mistake I unchecked a rule in my router that said " http and https management. and since then I can not access my router any more by typing my IP address in my browsers address bar.
Who can I access my router again with out to resetting it again to factory setting and losing all my rules and port forwarding?
My router is SonicWall TZ170 and it is on the network with Windows NT as OS.
Thank you.

you might be able to get in with putty via telnet/ssh and then change the settings via command line. i'm not sure if your router can but it would be worth researching it. i've only ever done this on Cisco routers so not sure if it applies to your router.

Yes, Thank you, it dose have console port.
So if I connect my laptop to the router with the special cable ( RJ-45 to DB-9) , it takes me right to the login page?

Ok, I am Back.
I got the cable and connected the router to the main server computer.
Then I launched Windows HyperTerminal and set it up.
According to the Sonicwall instructions, I should see a page that asked me for user name , password and it should show the routers model number.
But nothing happens.
I can not type anything and it is a blank page.
I think the router is not connected to the server.
I used port COM1 to connect.
Can you help me?

I was thinking, since the the router is connected to the server through a hub, may be that is why I do not get the start page.
But the HyperTerminal program shows states as connected.
Well, just a thought.
