DVD Burning Issues

I am having problems burning DVD's and wondered if anyone could shed some light on my situation. I am using a Pioneer DVD Burner on a Windows 2000 Server box. I am set as a backup administrator and I am usin Nero 5.5.9.0 Policy requires that I "Verify Written Data" After about 2 hours or so of Writing and Verifying my DVD is blank. We recently made the switch from Pioneers bundled software to Nero, but Nero was working perfectly until just recently. Thank you in advance for any help.
