Sorry to post in LAN / WAN - not strictly on topic but maybe a solution through LAN?

Proposing to put my beefy gaming PC in the basement of my house where it'll be dark, cold, and alone. Then to pipe all the outputs, USB, DVI, coax audio, from the basement through to the living room which is above it.

Anyone know of a single-cable solution to do this, rather than pumping a billion (ok 4) cables through the floor? Or a way to do it via LAN? (I will be using EoP).

You could use a KVM over IP solution, but the latency is an issue (screen lag) as is cost (several hundred dollars). You could also look at running a couple Cat5 cables, and using USB to Cat5 and HDMI/DVI to Cat5 adapters.
