Buying portable digital recorder: Nomad vs Neuros

Anyone have expirience/opinions on which is best.

And which one has the best preamp?

Are there better ones on the market at around the same price? The IRiver
makes glitches when recording in good quality, so that one is out of the
question.

I need
-16bit/48khz recording
-adjutable level meter WHILE recording
-no glitch
-digital and audio I/O

Have a look at the Archos Gmini 120.
