The 8 cm exhaust fan on the PSU won't spin.
Enermax FAQ says that happens if the 3 pin
housing for Fan Monitor Connector(FMC) is not hooked
up to the PWR_FAN connector on the M/B.

I can't figure out
how to hook up the Enermax EG465P-VE(FCA) to
the 3 pin male PWR_FAN connector on my
ASUS P4B533 M/B. The power supply came with
an extra 3 pin male connector that I can
plug into one of the power supplies 8 peripheral
connectors but that doesn't do me any good.

The 3 pin housing FMC that my PSU is supposed
to have sounds like it would be a 3 pin female
connector.

Am I missing a connector from my retail box
for the PSU?

there is a 3 pin connector coming from the psu, plug that into the adaptor and plug the adaptor into one of the molex plugs on the psu.

I don't have a 3 pin connector coming from my PSU.
I do have an adapter that came with the PSU to
change one of the peripheral connectors into a
3 pin male connector. Am I missing a connector
or adapter that should have come with my EG465P-VE(FCA)
PSU?

I'm building a new system and all I have connected
are the PSU, motherboard, CPU, cooler, Power Switch,
and VGA. How do I tell if it's in suspend mode? And
doesn't the PWR_FAN connector on the M/B need to be
connected to the PSU which I can't do because I can't
find a PSU connector that looks like it would fit in
the PWR_FAN connector on the M/B.

I looked harder starting at where the wires come out of the
PSU and found it!!! It was bundled up and brown and I didn't
see it.
Thanks for you help:)
