I currently have a P3 on an 820-based motherboard with PC800 RDRAM. I want to upgrade to a P4 on an 850E-based motherboard. My question is: Will I be able to run a 533 MHz FSB with PC800 RDRAM, and will doing so give me any advantage over a 400 MHz FSB?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can run PC800 on a 533MHz FSB. Even without overclocking, it'll still be about 2 or 3% faster than running with a 400MHz FSB.
