hdd problemo

i have a maxtor 20 gig 5400 hdd and after a few hours of use my computer becomes very slow and scippy and my hdd makes a sound like its motor is screwed any info would be appriciated

Check if the drive is still under warranty from maxtor, maybe you can get a nice new one for shipping cost
