I had to format my hardrive, so I tried doing a partition, but I got the size wrong, discovered after I had reinstalled win98. 98 is on the too small partition. Anyway
I can undo it without formating again?

what you need is a 3rd party utility such as partition magic.

If they squeeze olives to get olive oil, how do they get baby oil?

That's what I thought. I could just format it again and do it right this time. Any idea if you can split a HDD and have a dual boot with both running win98(I know why would I want that, it's a long story but it involves sharing the computer). Someone posted a link on here a while ago to a site that had everything I needed to know about partitioning
but lost it when the system crashed.

You can partition your drive using fdisk, but you will lose everything :(
Basically, boot form a 98 boot disk, put FDISK you will then get a menu, delete your partition, then create a new one (primary), say "Y" to enable large disk support, when it asks you for the size of the partition, enter like 3000 or 30% or whatever, then create an extended partition, and once you did that, you can create logical drives within this extended partiton.
