Cannot open pdf files

Hello,
i was able to download compressed, no password required pdf files into MS word. i have adobe reader x. at the end of each file is "zip." when i try to open a file, i keep getting an error message. 2 things, do i need a converter and how can i read the files using reader x?

if the file extension is zip then i would imagine you need to unzip them to get to the pdf file

something like 7zip which is free should do it

Win 7 has basic support for .ZIP files.

Use Windows Explorer to unzip. Then Reader will be able to read the unzipped .PDF file.

First unzip using 7 zip or winrar.then open pdf file with adobe x..
