Internet randomly fluctuates

Hello,
my internet has been fluctuating massively. It has never been the best but it is just getting ridiculous. This is what it looks like most days:

It has made games unplayable, I had large fluctuations before but I do not think it ever dipped this low. Help?

Those appear to time graphs of downloads/uploads. But usually gamers are concerned about response times. Are you actually engaged in significant downloads/uploads during the day? If not, then it might be malware, perhaps having turned your PC into a bot. I would at least run several different anti-malware scans just to be sure.

I download lots of things, though I was not downloading anything I know of when I took those shots. (It takes a few hours to do even basic files.)
