I wrote Marshall Electronics about the MXL 993 compared to the MXL
603s and here is what Wayne said:

"Then you'll love the 993, it uses the same capsule. It has a slightly
different pattern, a little tighter but sonically very similiar to its
younger brother the 603."

At $99.00, with a pad and bass roll-off, it's another no brainer, I
suppose.

Wayne: please send Harvey (and/or me) a couple gratis for reviews!
