Need Help with SSl XLogic Ch Strip and E.L. Distressor!

I recently purchased the SSL channel strip and love it. The compressor
in it is awesome, and of course love the eq. But I also recently picked
up a distressor. I am going direct to Pro Tools HD and dont have a
great outboard mixer. Does anyone know the best way to use the SSL AND
the distressor when recording vocals? I want to bypass the XLogics
compressor but the i/o in the ssl is limited. Manulas dont suggest the
best way to do this.

Any help would be so greatly appreciated!
