Wireless connection not working

one PC won't connect to wireless network
ipconfig produces
Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:
Media state.......:Media Disconnected
Ethernet adapter Wireless Network Connection 3:
Media state.......:Media Disconnected
I have a Linksys Wireless-G USB Adapter.
Running Windows XP SP3
It sees the network but it won't connect.
Windows firewall is off
all other PCs and devices in the house work fine on the same wireless network.
What do I do to diagnose the problem?
