Do I need a cooler?

I want to know if a need a HD cooler (not the 5.25" bay one) to my brand new Maxtor 40GB 7200rpm? My case temps are 25C in winter and 40C in summer.

Thats really good and cool already for me, I think you need not a fan. Just save your bullets for the other devices. Good luck~!!
