Aloha to all...here goes..
A friend of mine is willing to trade my 2 Samsung RDRAM modules 64 MB each [ PC800 ]...for two 128 MB modules whose brand is not even written on the modules [ black heatsink..with JAPAN written on them ]...for a little price difference...
i once read that ALL RDRAM is top notch quality and brands only differ in overclocking...i do not intend to overclock at all.....
Should i do the switch??
P.S. i already tried the 2 128 MB modules in my machine ..totalling 394MB...and my PC works fine...Sandra reported they are CL2-2 with max 411 MHZ....exactly like my 2 samsung modules...except sandra identified them with a number and no brand name:

btw...it says on the new modules: 40....and on the old samsung ones: 45...
does that stand for milliseconds??...and whats the use of faster modules??
