Aloha to all...here goes..

A friend of mine is willing to trade my 2 Samsung RDRAM modules 64 MB each [ PC800 ]...for two 128 MB modules whose brand is not even written on the modules [ black heatsink..with JAPAN written on them ]...for a little price difference...
i once read that ALL RDRAM is top notch quality and brands only differ in overclocking...i do not intend to overclock at all.....
Should i do the switch??

P.S. i already tried the 2 128 MB modules in my machine ..totalling 394MB...and my PC works fine...Sandra reported they are CL2-2 with max 411 MHZ....exactly like my 2 samsung modules...except sandra identified them with a number and no brand name:

< Logical/Chipset Memory Banks >

Memory Module 2: Samsung MR16R 0824BN1-CK8 2289AF04 64MB/4 (128Mx16)
RDRAM RIMM PC800 (CL2-2 upto 411MHz)
Memory Module 3: 4R128FKE6D-840 33010734 128MB/4 (256Mx16) RDRAM RIMM
PC800 (CL2-2 upto 411MHz)

PC800 (CL2-2 upto 411MHz)

btw...it says on the new modules: 40....and on the old samsung ones: 45...
does that stand for milliseconds??...and whats the use of faster modules??
its from a japanese company:

i just removed my old 2 samsung modules from my machine and decided to keep the 2 new 128MB modules....totalling 256 on my machine...

But this weird thing happened...i was browsing the net and all of a sudden i get this warning message saying the system is low on virtual memory...i press CTRL-ALT-DEL.......!!!!!....to find that my paging file is fully occupied with 1.2GB!!!!!
Why??...i was just browsing!!!!!

My page file is on C....512MB minimum and 1024 MB maximum...

P.S. all was ok since yesterday when i had the 2 old samsung modules with the 2 new Elpida modules..totalling 394...

this low virtual memory warning only appeared now when i removed the 2 samsung 64MB modules
