Over this last few weeks, I've started to notice the monitor behave in a rather disturbing way. It occasionally flashes in the middle of the screen - kinda like you'd get when you turned a tv off, but white - The rest of the image is fine while it does this. Then goes back to normal. Sometimes it does this a couple of times in succession. It's doing it at least once every 2 days now if not more.
I've never had any problems with it before now, and its now out of warranty. For info it's attached to a Hercules Geforce 2 GTS 64mb card.
I think the VM could be soon about to die on me anyway. Either that or its a power surge (but it can't be as both it, and the PC are plugged into a surge-protector, and the PC seems to be fine)
If it does die, I'll probbably end up replacing it with a Hercules ProphetView 920 Pro DVI TFT (even though I really can't afford one!) as from reading the last set of reviews on Tom's Hardware, this is a good screen. Unless of course anyone has any better suggestions. I'd like both analogue and DVI to keep it future-proof.
