Hello,
i bought this router two years ago . and it has taken 15 minutes to a half hor for the internet connection to come up. when i plug my verizon provider into the back of my desk top it works immediately. whats wrong with the configuration?

That doesn't sound like a configuration problem. That sounds like a dying router. Time for a new one.
