I am looking to buy a sub $150 vcard I and am undecided between the Gainward GF3Ti200 Golden Sample with 128MB or the GF4 Ti200 64MB. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Also I had a GF4 MX440 for about a week and ran into driver issues should I expect the same with these cards.

I would go definately with the GF4. Disregarding the memory difference, it has more powerful hardware than the GF3 and is DirectX 8.1 compliant.

Ti4200 64MB. (without any discussion; 128MB is for nothing for now & the gf4 has more features than the gf3)

64mb vs. 128mb makes little difference on a card as long as the card has the same GPU and clock speed. Until a new gaming engine supports 128mb video ram, this feature will be virtually useless.

GF4 chips are much stronger than GF3 chips.

go with the GF4.
