Motorola HS-810 Bluetooth Headset instructions

I have just received a HS 810 headset for my V525 mobile. I received this
from a friend who has lost the instructions and cannot remember how to pair
it to a phone. Can anybody tell me how to do this as i cannot seem to get it
to work.

I doubt the above will help as it is incorrect...
1. With the boom closed, press and hold the multifunction button until the
blue light comes on.
2. Immediately open the boom, the blue light will remain on.
3. Perform a device discovery from your phone.
4. Select the Motorola HS 810 from the list of discovered devices.
5. When requested enter the passkey "0000" on your phone.
