Is the fan on a PSU for the PSU itself or also for the PC chassis? Do I need other case fans besides the PSU fan?

The PSU fan on my box is as noisy as an engine. I am planning on getting a new case, and I'm considering getting a new PSU with a quieter fan. Any suggestions?

Here's my hardware:

ASUS TUSL2-C (ATX form, 6 PCI slots)
P3 800 EB w/ stock fan
ATI Radeon DDR 32
misc. PCI devices (NIC, vid, high end sound)
2x WD 80G 7200
1 3.5 floppy
1 CD-RW
Midtower case

Thanks!!

The fan on the PSU is for both the PSU and other components. If you do not have a lot of components you do not need additional case fan. I would recommond Enermax PSU.
