Terrible hotel internet, need possible hardware solutions!

Staying at a extended stay hotel for 3 months and the internet averages around 0.5MPS. My job and gaming requires a much faster connection. I tried internet support for the hotel and they can't do anything about it and I can't pay extra $$ for faster internet. Also I don't think I can pay for my own private internet provider like at&t/comcast etc to set up in my room.

So my question is, what solutions do i have in terms of hardware I can use? I'm thinking maybe one of those 4g wireless modems that i can plug into a usb slot? If anyone has a solution that beats my terrible internet I would very much appreciate your help! The more specific you can be about the best options would be great!

Pretty limited deployment at this point, but if you're lucky to be near a station, probably a lot cheaper than 3G/4G.
