When I'm playing farcry, there's a black spot under every enemy, and
myself on the terrain...any ideas why? it happens when my video card is
oc'd, and not oc'd, so it's not that...

Probably a daft question... what do you have shadows set to? What happens
if you change that setting?

Almost certainly you need to patch your game (which you should always do
in any case). Newer graphics cards cause problems with FarCry unpatched,
specifically with the shadows.

I bet you're right and he has the shadows set to minimum. But it's kind of a
strange question because just about every FPS on the market will have little
black spots for a persons shadow if shadows are set to low. So maybe this is
something else. Also like another poster mentioned, it's very important to
make sure the game is up to date with all it's patches. JLC
