Graphics Card must support DVD?

If i were to install a dvd drive does my graphics card have to support dvds? Right now im on a gf2 mx 400. I dunno if that supports dvds or not. and if it doesnt do i need to buy a new vid card with dvd playback? if so can you recomend some? thx

It will work with DVD. I can watch DVD with a Matrox G200 with only 8 MB of RAM.

DVD playback does not request too much from the graphics card. The onboard memory required is about 4MB. So your GF2 MX400 should be fine.
