BF2 rank problem

I started playing BF2 and right now am probably playing 8 hours a day.
Since I hit Lance corporal like 3 weeks ago I have not gone up one
millimeter in rank towards the next one. My skills have gotten much better
and I mean no movement. Anyone else having this problem. Know of any
solutions to it?

Are you playing on ranked servers? My stats are going up, but am
currently annoyed that yesterday I got enough points to reach Lance
Corporal (I don't play nearly as much as you), but still haven't
received the promotion, and the unlock I want.

Should happen next time you log on, it did for me anyway. I had to wait
until I played the next day after I got to 1000 points to get the
promotion.

Did I read somewhere that you need 10,000 points for the next promotion?
If that's right I doubt I'll be seeing that for a very long time ;-)

Yep 10500 pts. for Corporal, next promotion (Sergeant?) at 25000 pts.
Corporal at the moment, but already pretty much burnt out on BF2, I doubt
I'll hit 25000 any time soon.

You can see your statistics at bf2s.com. It includes an estimated time to
next promotion based on your current score rate. I'm due to hit Corporal
about christmas time.
