I'm building a new box and I'd like the input of a few people if that would be possible. Is it worth it to buy the PC3200 or the PC2700.. if so, why.. if not, why not? I was looking at KT400 boards and after becoming completely irate and disappointed I'm now leaning towards PC2700 but I'm still not sure.. all input would be greatly appreciated.

Doesn't worth it, AMD's FSB limits the speed, PC2700 will be enough even for the 166 FSB (if it'll be available).
If you're looking for hard OCing, go for 3200, if not, 2700 is great!

Well, I've never OC'd.. of course, while contemplating this new box I've done quite a bit of reading and I intend upon doing so.. I may get the Athlon 2600+ just for OCing and getting the maximum benefit I can at this moment.. but waiting for the stupid processor to be released to the masses is deterring me. Does having PC3200 just increase stability when OCing?
