Hi all,

Last year I upgrade my sound card (SB128) for a SB live. I was disapointed by the poor quality of midi sound compared to my old SB AWE64. With the AWE64, midi sounded more like real instruments. Is there a sound card that can give me the equivalent AWE64 quality sound of midi file ???

Does ADLIB still make sound card ???

The Live! and Audigy have great MIDI capabilities, but the problem is that the default Soundfonts suck. You need to download or purchase a replacement Soundfont. I use the Utopia Live! 36 MB Soundfont on my Audigy and it rocks! Available at http://utopialive.com.
