We have/had about 24 Fujitsu MPG 10 and 20 GB drives, all are about 1 year old. In the last month they have been dropping like flies, 16 dead so far. Maxtor and IBM drives in the same model computer have had no problems. Any one else seeing problems with the Fujitsu MPG drives?
IBM say that we are the only ones having problems with them (ya right), they are out of replacement 10Gb drives.
I feel like giving the 8 still working a good kick to be done with them.
Edit:
Found I'm not alone...

They are not being made anymore, but if you have a Fujitsu drive and it's about 1 year old make sure you back up everyting.
Two more have died since the original post.
Edited by tas on 09/13/02 08:39 AM.
