I want to buy a new sound card and I would like to take advantage of my minidisc player's digital input capability. What, if any, budget to mid level cards with an optical output would you recommend? The Hercules Fortissimo III 7.1 looks like what I want, but I havn't seen it available many places. Thanks.

I have a couple Aureal SQ2500's with perfect digital output.
