speakers

i am using nforce onboard audio with creative inspire 4400 4.1 speakers .my sound card has an output for central LFE channel can i use it connect a pair of amplified speakers and modify it from 4.1 to 5.1 system?

Well well the difference between 4.1 and 5.1 is that 5.1 has a center channel and 4.1 doesnt. This is u said it had an LFE output.... LFE stands for Low Frequency Effect which means its most likly to only put out Bass Sounds because LFE outputs are made for subwoofers. so you'd end up with a 4.2 channel system
