Winrar reporting corrupt files

hi,
i had all my family pics and videos in a folder sizing 32 gb,
so i compressed it to a file sizing 8gb and deleted the original folder.
now i want extract it but it extract's only some videos totally sizing 8gb.
it gives me a diagnostic msg saying that 3 of my files r corrupt.
what should i do to get my pics back,
it was a huge collection of memories,

What version of winrar are you using? It might be a bug in the program. I'd first suggest updating to the latest version of winrar and trying again.

Did you check to see if the folder you deleted with the originals is still in your recycle bin ?? - you might be able to recover it still if you did not clear the recycle bin or overwrite the area that it was using on the HDD yet !

For future reference -- Always test the archived files before deleting the originals !! ( ie. after compressing and before deleting the original decompress the archive and make sure everything is working properly before deleting anything !)

there's no way you could compress 32gigs of pics/videos to 8gigs.. something went wrong while you compressed it in first place.

the best option would be to try recover your deleted files.

i remember there was nothing in the recycle bin,
i did it for the first time so i didnt know to check,
ill keep it in mind but what can i do now????
