I put an old Visor Deluxe screen on Neo. no problem.

The Platinum and Deluxe screen are the same.

By the way, I dropped my Visor Deluxe twice (once when I was riding my
bike and it fell out of my pocket....hit pure concrete ground, and
tumbled for a couple of seconds....I was riding really fast) and the
screen never broke. Just a couple of scratches on the plastic shell of
the Visor. I always thought that my Visor's screen cover protected it
from screen cracks.

Just curious, but when your screen cracked, did it have the included
Visor cover?

shoot me your address, and I'll mail you a new handspring slipcase (I've got
a couple). Wouldn't want you to go through all that trouble, and then have

I don't know. I was always leary of it. In fact, I have one that I
have never used regularly because it is so tight that even with the
padding, I felt it might press too hard on the screen. I do use it
once in awhile, but only with the snap cover on. My "perfect" case
however has been the E&B Slipper Visor Case which I have used for
years:

Ahh,
I'm not a fan on the "play through" style of case. I like the feel of
naked palm to naked palm contact!
