According to Eizo L885 has "six specialized image adjustment modes: Text, Picture, Movie, Custom, sRGB
and External, each with its own settings...". The review has no mention about this, but criticized the poor game/movie performance.
Poor performance is suprising since Eizo recommends this display specially for movies.
The problem was related to photographic image dithering - COULD IT BE THAT THE WHOLE REVIEW WAS MADE IN "PHOTO" MODE GIVING INCORRECT GAME/MOVIE RESULTS?

Hi,

I've used all modes: none is good.
That's why you have to choose manuels settings.

By the way, all the tests were done with an Eizo guy. TThe display they sent me came with one of their technical specialist.
Games, colors, scalling, he has seen all the troubles and has no solution for the moment to correct all that we don't like.
