How to shut down a system if the system is continuously restarting?

sir recently i installed w8 os in my lap now the lap automatically restart by it self when ever i turn off the system,it automatically restarted so please help me to solve this problem?

see if there a bios update for you laptop.if not pull the battery and then ac power. it a cmos glitch with windows 8 and some motherboards.
