I got a dual boot system W2k/Win98SE, and installed a new MS wireless Optical Mouse (Blue) in both partitions (seperate HDD's). In Win98SE the mouse works with no problems at all.

In W2k the mouse has an annoying delayed response, and takes aboth 3-4 clicks to get is to work properly on all buttons (rt-clk/lt-clk). I have installed drivers directly from the CD, then uninstalled them and gone to MS website and installed the same version from there, still same old stuff. (Just to mention so everyone knows: I did uninstall the old mouse drivers before installing the new mouse).

Has anyone ran into this problem with this new mouse?
