Can you do anything OTHER than hook up to a headset using bluetooth on
the v600? My friend can send ringtones from his Sony Ericson to my
phone but i cannot do the same to his.

What procedure do you use? You should be able to SEND the selected object
to the paired device. Can you pair to the Sony-E?

It is not very clear how to SEND from the V600.
What you need to do is select the ringtone then the menu and choose COPY or
MOVE (each one does what it says) - it will then give you the option of
using Bluetooth.
