HELP!!! GTA 4 PC

I don't know what to do I installed gta 4 on my pc and it worked and everything but when I played the game it's graphics sucked their were no walls and a lot of invisible ***. So I installed some patch 01.03.10 or whatever and now it won't launch the game at all. When I type in my information for social club it takes it, then the disc icon shows up, then it goes back to where I log in. WTF DO I DO!!! I so frustrated.
