Hey Guys, I was wondering if there was some sort of special sound card or cheaper alternative for a amplifier to power two 12" speakers rated at 300 watts.
Or if there isnt could you possibly recommend a good powerful possibly good priced 5.1 channel reciever or amplifier, because the one I have now is 75 wattts front 45 watt rears & center and 45 watt for the sub and I need more power if u could help me out here I would greatly appreciate it and you would seriously calm my nerves because I'm quite nervouse that the system I have now connected to my computers sound blaster 5.1 card with all the computers volume turned up just isnt going to power those 2 twelves enough does two 8" really nice but they dont hit low enough for my needs hehe (40 hz) the 12's go lower. If you have any suggestions at all I would REALLY appreciate it thnx again guys!

You need to check out hifi sites, not computer hardware sites, for good information on top notch reciever/amplifiers for component home theater systems.

Yea ok ill do that umm........... somebody told me that if i up'ed the wattage of my power supply that i would be able to increase my volume even more could this be true sounds kinda sketchy to me because i got a 230 power supply on a P3 500 Mhz and 2 hard drives and only a tnt ultra graphics cards and a sound blaster card in the slots so i dont think my systems hardware could be decreasing the sound cards output. What are your guys thoughts on this? Could a more powerful power supply amp up your computers volume?

When you say my power supply is weak do you mean its weak in comparison to whats out there or that it is weak for what i am using? If so will a power supply upgrade to lets say 400 watts from my current 230 watts speed up my hard drives computer or possibly give me a little more volume?

NO, I already said I don't think it's a power problem. I just think that running a 230W power supply could lead to stability problems, if not now then possibly when you do your next small upgrade.
