I have a intersting problem with my moniter. When displaying the lighter colors, I have these very faint arching lines going across the screen, usualy coming form the cornrs. it does not seem to happen in games. Any ideas?

Do the lines move, or are they stationary? I have an old HP monitor that does the same thing, in games as well as on the desktop. I have no idea what is causing it, but I bought myself a new monitor a while back so I wouldnt have to look at it as much anymore. =)

I've done a little testing, and this is what i've found. I think the the lines are cause by interfirence of some type. I recently took my computer to a lan party, and the lines were totaly gone. also, the lines move when i shift my monitor around. Any idea of what would cause it?

Try this, Disconnect the speakers or move them away from the monitor or disconnect anything electrical that's near the monitor.....

Magnets from unshielded loudspeakers, nearby electric motors or florescent lights, electric heating, power cord to other devices running next to your video cable.
