Powerline 200 vs 500

Hi, just wondering whether getting a 500Mbps powerline kit over a 200 Mbps kit would be much of a benefit, seeing that comcast internet speeds only advertise 50Mbps or 105Mbps speeds.

I have not used the 500m ones yet but the 200m ones never run close to that. But I am starting to suspect they may mean something like 100m up and 100m down.

I did get 85m in the same room but that is a silly thing to do. It worked ok in most rooms at about 40-50m but unfortunately the room I needed it in had a ceiling fan that managed to make it unusable so they now reside in my junk box.

If you are really going to get a 105m internet I would look at the 500m you would think it has to run faster.

I gave up and went into the attic and ran a ethernet cable.
