I don't want to recommend a placement... there are others more qualified for
that advice. I am curious where the door is to your control room though. How
do you get into these rooms?

Set up so you're facing either wall b or wall c. Using wall c is probably
better because if you face wall b there's a door where you need an absorber
panel to catch the first reflections. Then place your chair so your ears are
about 7 feet from the wall in front of you.

I agree..I have a similar setup and it works well..the room sounds very uniform
this way. Might have to experiment with monitor placement and
absobtion/diffusion.
Plus I like having talent to the side as stuff on top of the meter
bridge..etc..get into the kline of sight if straight on. I have my DAW setup
kind of kitty corner to the room window.
