I have a used computer which is password protected. I can get in as a visitor but from that point I'm stuck. I can't install programs or get on the internet without the password. So I went to Youtube (using another computer) and looked at all the vids on how to change the password from cmd. (net user and the name of the administrator *) I don't even get a change password prompt it says system 5 error. Then I tried regedit and no luck the security needs a password. My feeling at this point is this computer has a nasty virus. Also in the control panel you can't even change a thing without a password. At this point I think will have to re-install windows 7. Any input most appreciated.
