Computer Problem

Hello,
I have been unable to connect to my wifi on my laptop. I am currently using my moms laptop I know there are 3 wifi hotspots around my house. None of the hotspots show up in my network sharing, yet I'm connected to one of them right now using a dif laptop.... So I'm just confused please help !!!!

Have you tried to manually add the hotspot SSIDs? Your wifi might not be as robust as your moms, therefore she can pick up networks you can't. Try walking with your laptop around the house and yard and see if you pick up other networks, or try installing inSSIDer and see what networks it picks up. They could also be 5GHz networks and you are running 2.4GHz...
