I left my computer on and when I got back and tried to use it my mouse and keyboard were unresponsive. The lights on the keyboard + mouse are illuminated. I tried unplugging + replugging in different usb ports and restarting the computer many times but no good. I can't even log into Windows.

Luckily I have an Ubuntu partition that I am using now to type this message and the keyboard + mouse both work fine in it.
How do I get windows 7 to work proper???

Have you tried another mouse or keyboard? Nothing appears when you plug in the peripherals in Windows 7?
