strange things happened..help

i get these error msg when i start my pc...
sec slave - atapi not compatible
press f1 to resume
can anyone tell me wat is the problem?
everything work fine after i restart the pc...

Obviously it appears to some kind of compatibility problem with the ATAPI interface of your drive and your controller. But from the few details you post there is not much else I can say. Can you use the drive if you just press f1 and let the system boot? (no restart)
Post some more details on your system.
