Muse XL driver install problem

I just installed a Hercules Muse XL on my computer.
After uninstalling the drivers for the original sound card, I tried to install the latest drivers which I downloaded off the Hercules website.

When I try to install the drivers, it seemed to install fine, but when its finish, windows says "the data is invalid” has anyone heard of this before? With either the Muse XL, or any other device.
And if so, does anyone know how to fix it?

I have tried installing both the drivers on the CD, as well as the latest drivers.
And tried deleting every file on my computer relating to the driver, and then re-installing the drivers, but still to no avail.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Load up the drivers from the CD. Don't uninstall the old drivers. Just run the .exe file that you downloaded from Hercules. Don't throw that CD away! As long as you own that card you're going to need it.
