I bought SMiLE today, quite honestly expecting to be a little let
down, but as big a fan as i am, i could not resist the purchase...

i just wanted to give kudos to Mark Linett for the EXCELLENT job he
has done recording and mixing this record...as both an engineer and
rabid fan of the orignal recordings, i thank you sincerely for the job
you've done with this record.

i couldn't be more happy with the final sequencing and arrangements
either. from my perspective, everyone involved with this project did
an excellent job of staying true to what had been done while
completing what had not been.

Congratulations and thanks!!!
Jon

I heard a piece on NPR last week about the production, and they even
mentioned Mark. Sounds like it was an interesting project.

after the history of the project and the amount of anticipation, i
think it would have to be!

the CD is only 12.99 right now at Best Buy. if you have the means, i
highly suggest picking one up. it's so choice.

we're going to see the live performance of SMiLE at the Auditorium
Theater in the Chi on saturday. i can't wait. we saw the Pet Sounds
Symphonic Tour a few years ago at the Chicago Theater and it was
fantastic. sounded great too. ...and Brian was wearing a "Taz"
sweatshirt...how can you *not* love this guy?

take care!

That was a great tour.

My brother-in-law is seeing him tomorrow in Minneapolis. (on my birthday!)

The band is so so so good.
